How we work
Software runs the workflow. People make the calls.
To start a check you submit an applicant’s name and email on a lawful permissible purpose. Atlas handles the standalone disclosure, written authorization, secure invitation, and identity collection, then runs the searches you selected.
Trained adjudicators review the results before a report is finalized. Atlas provides the consumer report. The hiring or leasing decision, and any adverse action with its pre-adverse notice and waiting period, stays with you, exactly as the FCRA requires.
